OceanGlobe farm siteOceanGlobe farm sitePosition 2 - Daily operation position. The majority of the Oceaglobe net pen is submerged. Only a small volume is above water to create an air-dome for the fish.Position 3 - A position used in bad weather conditions.Position 4 - A position used when the weather is extreem and/or algea invations and/or temperature challenges.Position 4Position 1. - Maintenance and harvesting position.
The net pen can be rotated inside the working platform.
- all parts can be regularly inspected above water.
- No use of divers.
- Easy harvesting and cleaning above waterDocking & Separate controll/feeding stationDocking and Maintainance - Solid workingplatform. Secure docking of large vesselsMaintainance - Health, security and environment in focus.
- The work platform on the outside of the net pen give a good clearing to the water surface. Low risk of waves flushing over the platform.
- The work platform on the inside of the net pen, only used when the weather conditions allows it, gives good contact and easier handling of the fish.A secure and efficient fish farming system - - All work and inspection can be performed from a secure work platform above water. No need for divers
- Double net secures no fish escape
- The net is stretched out between solid pipes. This gives less chance for damages on the net
- Solid platform for mooring boatsSun- and air-drying of the net - - OceanGlobe can be elevated to a maintenace position. In addition can the globular net pen be rotated, so that all of the net can be brought above water. This makes it possible to clean the net by air- and sun-drying.
- No need for impregnating the net with not environment friendly anti-fouling like copper etc.Exteeme weather - The surface area of the OceanGlobe is small in position 2, 3 and 4. This to minimize the environmental forces on the system.
